Story
Hi there,
At the beginning of 2017 I set myself a challenge; learn how to live a healthier life. As I am changing life time habits, I gave up one thing and took up one thing. I gave up processed sugar and I took up exercise, since January I have been participating in Boot Camp three times a week. After a while my trainer asked if I would like to do the Stadium Stomp with her and a few others, I instantly said yes without understand what I was saying yes to!!
On 30 July 2017 I will be participating in The GABBA Stadium Stomp, its the ultimate stair climbing challenge where participants climb up, down and around the stairs within the GABBA stadium bays. The full course is approximately 5,000 steps, which will be 2 laps of level 4 and one lap of level 2 before running a full lap of the oval to finish.
I also wanted to make a difference, so I decided to raise money for the Stillbirth Foundation Australia while climbing 5,000 steps. The Stillbirth Foundation Australia is the only Australian charity dedicated to stillbirth research. Their objective to prevent others from this devastating experience. The trustee for Stillbirth Foundation Australia Trust
The Stillbirth Foundation Australia is the only organisation in Australia solely dedicated to the research into causes, risk factors and prevention of stillbirth. Six babies a day are stillborn in Australia and it is the mission of the foundation to reduce this incidence through research, education and advocacy.
